Thanks to Sally Rae and a team of volunteers from George Watson’s for taking 1,400 pairs of pants with them on their recent trip to Malawi.
During my trip to Malawi pants were delivered to the 500 Miles clinic, Mother Teresa orphanage and distributed to the women in Kuthanga village. All in all 968 pairs of pants were delivered.

Friday 11th was underwear pick up day from Balcraig. They collected 3200 pairs of pants & bras for distributing to the ladies in Kenya, Sierra Leone and Malawi (Freedom from Fistula) and 2383 pairs of pants for the children...
200 bras and 343 pairs of pants were given to women and children by Maria on her trip to Uganda and Kenya (St Monica’s Home).
Balcraig took 1,100 pairs of our ladies pants and 400 bras to Sierra Leone.
Glynis and Colin Brown took 250 pairs of pants with them to the Gambia. They work with www.gloveproject.org and their contact told them “pants are like gold dust” so the women were delighted with our donations.
