It was an honour to sit with Maria and the Smalls for All Trustees on Saturday. We met in the warehouse in Livingston which is full of thousands and thousands of pants and bras that you have so kindly donated. As I saw the mountain of underwear I felt humbled to have joined such an amazing charity as its Chairman. Each pair of pants or bra is a gift of dignity.
With your support Smalls for All has exploded in size over the last year. It has moved from operating successfully out of two sheds fondly known as the ‘Pantagon’ and ‘Bra Bank’, in Maria’s garden, to filling a 6,000 square foot warehouse.
The charity has reached a point where it requires strong, focused leadership to manage its growth and I am delighted to announce that Maria has made the courageous decision to move out of her role in industry and take up the position of CEO on a permanent basis. Due to funding restrictions Maria will initially take on the role on a part time basis, even though I am sure it will occupy most of her time.
Please join me in congratulating Maria as she focuses on giving the gift of dignity to more and more people across Africa.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2017.
