Total underwear collected is 2,436,199

Thank you for sending us a pantastic 962 parcels in December.

Since our last Talking Pants, we’ve provided new pants and new & gently worn bras to 7 organisations:

  • 625 pairs of pants and bras to Simon Community Scotland who provide advice, support and accommodation services to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • 300 pairs of pants to Streets Kitchen, an organisation working with people experiencing homelessness in London.
  • 111 pairs of pants and bras to the North East Recovery Community (NERC). NERC is a peer-led charity that provides recovery initiatives in Glasgow with the aim of promoting and assisting recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs.
  • 190 pairs of pants and bras to Refugee Action York, an organisation working with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in York.
  • 125 pants and bras to Turning Point Scotland who offer a residential service, looking after people with complex needs related to drug and alcohol addiction.
  • 2,330 pairs of pants to The Cowshed, a Berkshire based charity providing support to people in crisis.
  • 275 pairs of pants and bras to North Whitehawk Residents Association, an organisation in Brighton supporting families in need.

Thanks to you, we were able to provide underwear recently to Ankoma Outreach, a charity working in a rural community in Ghana. The organisation’s Co-founder Asha Richardson told us, “We are incredibly grateful to Smalls for All for their generous donation of hundreds of pants to Ankoma. This special gift will bring comfort, confidence, and joy to so many children, making a meaningful difference in their daily lives. Your support is truly transformative, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

We also provided underwear to Little Green Sock Project in Trafford, Greater Manchester, a charity that supports local families living in poverty or crisis. The organisation’s Sian Page told us, “At Little Green Sock Project we believe every child deserves access to the essentials they need for their health and wellbeing. In Greater Manchester 250,000 children are living in poverty with many lacking the basic essentials needed – including underwear – for a safe and happy childhood.”

2025 was a busy year. We processed 102 requests for underwear which amounted to 131,429 pairs of pants and new or gently worn bras for people in need. Sadly, underwear and Smalls is still very much needed. Looking forward to 2026, we’ve got a couple of exciting developments happening. Firstly, thanks to a grant from the Bank of Scotland Foundation, we’ve been busy recruiting a business development manager. And secondly I’ve not given up trying to manufacture pants in Africa. This has proved harder than we initially thought, as each of the promising contacts we’d approached in 2025 was unable to fulfil our brief in the end. However, every failed approach brings with it some learning, and so I’m now a little wiser and very optimistic that we’ll crack it in 2026.

On behalf of all the people who received your donations, my sincere thanks go to our partners and distributors, our amazing team of Smalls volunteers and of course to you.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas wherever you are and whatever you’re doing. I hope that 2026 is full of peace, happiness and good health for you all.

With very best wishes,
Maria
