Thanks to you, we were able to provide underwear recently to Ikasi Soccer School, an organisation based in Khayekitsha, South Africa. The organisation’s Sindiso Joya told us, “We are an after-school programme that nurtures, develops and impacts young girls through football skills and academic, well-being and nutritional support every week throughout the year. We are based in the community of Khayekitsha, a township with a population of over 2 million. We are in essential need of the underwear which we will be distributing to the underprivileged of Khayelitsha, Ikasi Soccer School girls and local schools that we collaborate in sporting events.”
We were also able to provide underwear to ShowerBox. The organisation’s Lisa Bain told us, “We are massively grateful to Maria and the Smalls for All team for their continued support! Year on year, the team supports ShowerBox by providing fresh, new underwear for our guests. Their ongoing generosity ensures that those using our showers leave not only feeling clean, but also with the dignity of fresh clothing. With donation levels hit hard by the cost-of-living crisis, this support is more vital than ever – especially as demand for our ShowerBox services increases week by week too.”
