Total underwear collected is 1,480,317

As you may know, we’ve been receiving more requests for men’s underwear and have added men’s pants (extra small, small, medium and large) to the list of what we collect. For a reminder of what we collect, please have a look at Donate underwear.

We’re so very thankful to Sarah Jordan of Y.O.U underwear for a large donation (6 boxes) of men’s pants. They won’t be sitting in our warehouse for long! Y.O.U operates a model where for every pair of  Y.O.U underwear that’s bought, they donate two pairs of pants to Smalls. We received 4,094 parcels in  September, and we’ve given 66,442 pairs of new pants and new and gently worn bras to 4 organisations since our last Talking Pants. Our thanks to:

• NPAC who collected 65,000 pairs of new pants and new and gently worn bras.
• West Lothian uniform bank who collected 798 pairs of new pants.
• Bethany Christian Trust (Edinburgh) who collected 94 pairs of new pants and new and gently worn bras.
• The Halliday Foundation (Glasgow) who collected 550 pairs of new pants.

It was great to be able to supply underwear to The Halliday Foundation, a homeless charity in Glasgow, for the first time. For details of where all the underwear has gone, please look at our underwear timeline.

One of our kind supporters recently asked if we could produce a wee Christmas donation card for printing out and giving as part of people’s Christmas presents. We thought this was a great idea!
